Little Maketto Goes Offline!!

Little Maketto will be going offline again. This time it'll be at yet another music festival (Little Maketto likes to support local musicians!!)

It's happening this Saturday 8th August 2009 and Sunday 9th August 2009 at Klang Centro. It starts about 11am and runs till 10pm.

If you're in the area, come visit the Little Maketto booth to shop for the items you see in this blogshop and more!! The event will showcase some wonderful Chinese singers-songwriters and there will be other handicraft shops at the event. It is a great celebration of creativity.

PS. My good friend, Jasemaine will be performing at the event. She's a talented singer-songwriter, photographer, designer and mac expert! You can find our more about her through the link at the bottom of the page...

I'm a huge fan of the Gossip Girl series and when I watched the last episode of the current season, Goodbye Gossip Girl, my little eye spied a beautiful necklace adorned by the character Jenny Humphrey. It took me awhile but I managed to track down the original designer of the necklace - pequitobun. Her jewellery line is exquisite! The original necklace, Crown Jewels is still available for sale. You can check it out here.

Anyway till the next season starts screening, I was inspired to create Jenny, the necklace that is somewhat similar to Crown Jewels minus the genuine gems and on a more affordable range. This is my most elaborate piece of handmade jewellery yet.
